Easter Weekend

Face Paint!
Today was a good day, tomorrow being Easter there were tons of Easter Egg hunts around town.  We tagged along with Noelle and the girls to two.  The first was huge! It was a whole carnival, complete with Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, and Face Painting.  It was so cute when Trin pulled up to the ribbons decorated park at the second Easter Egg hunt.  She has a birthday soon and it looked like a great party, "Mom am I four?" she thought the party was for her.  Sweet.
Rolling dough builds character and strong arms.
What I really was looking forward to was making monkey bread.  I actually got up early and made the dough so it would be ready to work with when I got home.

Trinity helped me make the rolls.  She is getting pretty good with the rolling pin.   We did finally get some rolls made, they barely made it out of the oven before being eaten, and the only reason they lasted that long was because David, Trin and I also made monkey bread.  I love monkey bread, and you can find a tastey recipe here http://www.browneyedbaker.com/2010/08/27/monkey-bread-recipe/
I wanted to take a picture, but it wasn't to be, here are my cinnimon rolls instead.
